PowerLibs License

License Summary
This license grants you extensive rights to use PowerLibs components in your Power Apps projects. You can create unlimited applications, modify components, and even sell your creations - but you cannot redistribute the components themselves or create competing component libraries.
1. Definitions
- PowerLibs Components: All UI components, YAML code, design assets, and related files provided through the PowerLibs platform. This includes both Base Components and Ultra Components.
- Base Components: The core set of UI components (currently 80) included with the PowerLibs Components Pack (one-time purchase). You receive perpetual (lifetime) access to these components once purchased.
- Ultra Components: Additional components, full apps, and advanced features available exclusively through an active PowerLibs Ultra subscription. Access to Ultra Components requires an active subscription — if you cancel, you lose access to Ultra Components but keep your Base Components.
- End Product: A complete Power Apps application that incorporates PowerLibs components as part of a larger functional project.
- End Users: The final users who interact with your completed Power Apps applications.
- Clients: Individuals or organizations for whom you create Power Apps applications using PowerLibs components.
- You/Your: The licensed user of PowerLibs components.
2. License Grant
Subject to the terms of this license, PowerLibs grants you a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use PowerLibs components in accordance with the permitted actions outlined below.
This license is effective from the date of your first download or use of PowerLibs components and remains in effect as long as you comply with these terms.
Base Components (Components Pack): Once purchased, your license to use the Base Components is perpetual (lifetime). You keep access even if you do not have an active Ultra subscription.
Ultra Components: Your license to use Ultra Components is valid only while you maintain an active PowerLibs Ultra subscription. If your subscription ends, you lose access to Ultra Components, but any End Products you already created using them may continue to be used.
3. Permitted Actions
You are authorized to perform the following actions with PowerLibs components:
✅ Create without Limits
Use PowerLibs components to create as many Power Apps applications as you like, giving your creativity room to grow.
✅ Make It Your Own
Modify, customize, and adapt PowerLibs components to suit your specific project needs and requirements.
✅ Serve Multiple Clients
Use PowerLibs components to create unlimited End Products for any number of Clients. No project limits apply.
✅ Sell Your Work
Develop and sell Power Apps applications that incorporate PowerLibs components, turning your creations into a source of income.
✅ Open and Accessible
Build End Products that are open source and freely available to End Users, promoting transparency and inclusivity in your projects.
4. Prohibited Actions
You are not allowed to perform the following actions:
❌ No Building Tools for Others
You cannot use PowerLibs components to create End Products meant for End Users to build their own projects using the components or derived content.
❌ No Standalone Distribution
Don't distribute PowerLibs components or anything based on them as separate items. They must always be part of a larger End Product.
❌ No Unauthorized Ownership
You cannot use PowerLibs components to create End Products that belong to anyone other than you or your Clients.
❌ No Direct Competitors
You cannot build a tool, software product, or component library that is considered a direct competitor to PowerLibs or offers similar functionality, features, or services.
5. Ownership
PowerLibs components remain the intellectual property of Dennis Dörflinger. This license grants you usage rights but does not transfer ownership.
You retain full ownership of any End Products you create using PowerLibs components, including any modifications or customizations you make.
6. Termination
This license is effective until terminated. Your rights under this license will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any of its terms.
Termination for license violation: Upon termination due to a breach of these terms, you must cease all use of PowerLibs components. End Products created before termination may continue to be used and distributed.
Subscription cancellation: Cancelling your Ultra subscription is not a license termination. You retain perpetual access to your Base Components (Components Pack). You only lose access to Ultra Components and Ultra features. You can re-subscribe at any time to regain Ultra access.
7. Disclaimer
PowerLibs components are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Use at your own risk. Dennis Dörflinger shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of PowerLibs components.
